Lesson Cancellation/Payment Policies

Payments

  • Payments can be made via Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit or Cash.
  • Cheques should be made out to Dave Snider Music Centre Ltd.
  • New Students:Lesson fees are due prior to your first lesson and again on the 5 th lesson (should you continue) of each subsequent set.
  • Returning Students: Lesson Fees are due prior to your 1 st lesson (In September) and again on the 5 th lesson of each subsequent set.
  • Your lesson time belongs to you unless you inform us otherwise.
  • Should you decide to stop taking lessons, please give your teacher 2 lessons notice.

 

Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellations of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson. This includes leaving messages on the answering machine.
  • You can call the store at 416-483-5825 or your teacher directly to cancel a lesson.

When cancelling a lesson, please provide the following information:

Student Name is: _________________________________
My Teacher’s Name is: ____________________
I need to cancel my lesson scheduled on (date/time) _____________________

 

  • Any lessons cancelled at least 24 hours ahead will receive a make-up lesson at a time convenient to both the teacher and the student…this makeup lesson will not be added to the end of the set of 5 lessons
  • Make-up lessons not used after 3 months will be considered forfeited
  • No shows are considered forfeited lessons.
  • No more than 2 cancellations per set of 5 lessons.
  • There are NO refunds/store credits on unused lessons.
  • Should you choose to take a break, unused lessons can be banked for you for a period of 3 months. Unused lessons after that time will be considered forfeited

 

Holidays / School Breaks

 Exceptions will be made with respect to School breaks, Christmas, March Break, Religious and Statutory Holidays. Those weeks will be skipped over during the 5 consecutive weekly lessons. Please advise your teacher as soon as you know you will have to miss a lesson due to these aforementioned breaks.
